Senior Rep Team Photo Session at the Huntington Library
There’s something magical about the Huntington Library in San Marino, California. From its lush gardens to its historic architecture, it’s the perfect backdrop for stunning senior pictures. This past weekend, I had the absolute joy of taking my 2025-26 Senior Rep Team there — and it was everything I’d hoped for!
I’d been looking forward to this shoot for weeks because it was the first time all the girls were able to make it at the same time. We’ve done other group sessions before, but this was our first time with everyone together. Watching them laugh, chat, and bond as we walked through the gardens was just as special as the photos we captured.
A Beautiful Setting for Senior Pictures
The Huntington Library is a photographer’s dream. From the rose garden to the Japanese garden, everywhere you turn there’s another picture-perfect backdrop. The girls had so much fun exploring the grounds — not only taking photos, but also getting to know each other, swapping stories about school and activities, and even brainstorming ideas for their own future senior sessions.
A Different Vibe From Last Year
One thing that stood out to me right away was how different this group feels compared to last year’s senior rep team. Last year’s crew was loud, bubbly, and full of big personalities. This year’s group is more on the quiet side — but in the best way. Their calm energy made the session feel relaxed and easygoing, and it let us create some really soft, timeless images.
And can we talk about the car ride? I drove four of the girls to the Huntington Library myself, and no one even called “AUX!” They just rolled with my 90’s playlist the entire way.
Why I Love My Senior Rep Team
My rep team program is one of my favorite parts of my business. It’s not just about beautiful photos (though there are plenty of those!) — it’s about creating a little community of seniors who cheer each other on and make their final year of high school even more memorable. Watching these girls become friends is the best part of the job.
