Senior Session Spotlight: Katelyn at the Santa Susana Railroad Depot 🚂✨


This past spring I had the absolute joy of photographing Katelyn’s senior session — and what a session it was! She originally found me on social media after seeing her friend’s senior photos with me, and I’m so glad she did.


When she booked, I sent her my location guide (like I always do), but she had a fun twist — she asked if we could go somewhere not on my list. I’m always up for a little adventure, and when she told me she loved trains, I knew it would be perfect. What better spot than Simi’s own Santa Susana Railroad Depot & Museum?


From the moment we started, her fun and youthful personality set the tone for the shoot. We laughed, explored, and made sure to capture her excitement about the next big chapter of her life — heading off to Alaska for college! The energy was contagious and made every frame feel alive.
