Meeting Your Senior Photographer & Planning Outfits
When you arrive, the very first thing we do is slow things down.
We’ll look through your outfit changes together and talk through a game plan:
• Which outfit works best for each location
• What order we’ll shoot them in
• How we can get the most variety from each look
This helps the session feel organized but relaxed—and makes sure no outfit is rushed or overlooked.
Walking To The First Location & Getting Comfortable
From there, we’ll walk and chat our way to the first shooting spot. This part is intentional. It helps you loosen up, get comfortable, and forget about the camera for a minute.
I always tell my seniors right away:
None of my clients are models—and you don’t have to be.
Guided Posing (No Modeling Experience Needed)
This is the part most people worry about, so let me say it clearly:
👉 I tell you exactly what to do.
I’ll guide you through:
• Where to stand
• What to do with your hands
• How to shift your weight
• Where to look
The first few minutes might feel a little awkward—and that’s totally normal. Once you get used to my poses and prompts, it clicks. You’ll start to relax, have fun, and feel way more confident.
Using Posed & Movement-Based Photos For Variety
I use a mix of posed shots and movement-based prompts, so your gallery doesn’t feel stiff or repetitive.
This gives you:
• Polished, classic senior portraits
• Natural smiles and candid moments
• A ton of variety from one session
No two galleries ever look the same—and that’s the goal.
Easy Outfit Changes With a Pop-Up Changing Tent
When it’s time to change outfits, I bring a pop-up changing tent, so you don’t have to stress about finding a bathroom or changing in your car.
Easy, private, and quick—so we can keep moving.
Exploring Multiple Locations For Different Backdrops
I love to roam around our locations. Even within one spot, we can get:
• Different backgrounds
• Different lighting
• Totally different vibes
This makes your gallery feel full and dynamic, not like everything was shot in one place.
What Happens After Your Senior Photo Session
Most senior sessions run about 1.5 hours, and once we wrap, I head home and geek out editing your photos.
In my contract, I ask for up to two weeks to deliver your gallery—but I pride myself on getting it to you much faster whenever possible.
You can also expect:
• A sneak peek on Instagram and TikTok (often the same day or next day 👀)
• A beautifully curated online gallery
How & When You'll Receive Your Senior Photo Gallery
Your final gallery is easy to use and made for sharing. From there, you can:
• Download your images
• Print photos
• Share with family and friends
No stress, no confusion—just your photos, ready to enjoy.
