Camarillo Senior Portraits at Hill Canyon: Ava’s Sweet Session 🌿✨
Some senior portrait sessions feel extra special — and Ava’s was one of them. I hadn’t seen her in years, but she and her mama were such a sweet part of our lives when my girls were little. Being able to reconnect and photograph her senior pictures in Camarillo felt like such a full-circle moment.
We chose Hill Canyon in Camarillo, California for her senior photo session. This location is one of my favorite outdoor spots for natural senior portraits in Ventura County, with its soft trails, golden grasses, and scenic views. Even though the sun stayed hidden behind the clouds, Ava’s smile and energy lit up every frame — she was absolutely a moment.
At the end of her session, there was an extra dose of magic: Ava’s boyfriend surprised her with the sweetest prom-posal! The photos perfectly capture her genuine surprise and excitement — a memory she’ll have forever.
