From Nervous to Natural: Gabby’s Sunflower Session

When Gabby arrived for her portrait session at Conejo Family Farms in Camarillo, she admitted she was a little nervous. Like so many clients, she wasn’t sure how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. But that’s exactly where I come in.

The Magic of Sunset and Sunflowers

Conejo Family Farms is one of my favorite Camarillo photography locations, especially when the sunflowers are in full bloom. The light hits the fields just right during golden hour — that soft, warm glow that makes every image feel like a scene from a summer dream.

Gabby took full advantage of the season. As the sun dipped behind the hills, the sky turned to shades of peach and gold, wrapping her in the most perfect evening light. Surrounded by towering sunflowers, she radiated confidence and joy.
