This summer, we traded our cameras and computers for swimsuits and sunscreen—and it was every bit as magical as we hoped. We took a 7-day cruise to Cabo San Lucas to celebrate something incredibly special: Makayla’s graduation! 🎓

After all the hard work, late nights, and big dreams coming true, we wanted to do something unforgettable to mark this huge milestone—and let me tell you, cruising along the coast of Mexico was the perfect choice.

From the moment we stepped on the ship, we soaked up every moment. The views were breathtaking, the laughter was non-stop, and the food? Oh, we definitely did not go hungry.


🛳️ A Taste Adventure at Sea

One of our favorite parts of cruising is the food—so of course, we made it our mission to try everything. We stepped way out of our comfort zones and tasted things we’ve never tried before: escargot, duck, lamb, and yes—even frog legs! (And surprisingly, some of it was delicious! 😉)

Each night felt like a five-star dinner, and every meal turned into a memory.


🌊 Cabo Bliss

When we finally arrived in Cabo, it was paradise. Warm, crystal-clear waters wrapped around us as we floated, swam, and let the stress of the year drift away. There’s something about the ocean that resets your soul—and Cabo gave us exactly that.

We also took things up a notch (literally) with an off-road ATV adventure through the desert! Dusty, bumpy, fast, and SO much fun—it was the perfect mix of thrill and freedom. Riding through the trails with the wind in our hair and the ocean on the horizon was something we’ll never forget.


💛 Why This Trip Mattered

This trip wasn’t just a vacation. It was a celebration of Makayla’s hard work, growth, and all the exciting things ahead for her. It was time carved out just for us—to laugh, explore, and be fully present as a family.

I came back reminded of how important it is to capture these moments—not just with photos, but with your full heart. And as we head into a busy fall season, I’m more inspired than ever to help families create and preserve memories of their own.
