Ava’s Fall Senior Session at The Bridgeport Community | Valencia, CA


Last week I had the sweetest fall session with Ava, one of my seniors who chose my Fall + Spring package. I love this experience because I get to photograph my seniors twice—and Ava is the kind of girl you’re excited to see again.


We met at the gorgeous Bridgeport community in Valencia, which is honestly one of my favorite spots this time of year. The lake, the bridges, the warm fall light—everything felt calm and cozy, which matched Ava perfectly. She’s super quiet, soft-spoken, and just so kind.


One of my favorite parts of this session was incorporating her guitar and bass. Ava is incredibly talented, and watching her hold her guitar instantly took me back to my own high school days when all my friends played in our chapel band. I love that she uses her gifts today to play on worship teams at different churches. There’s something so special about photographing a senior who uses her talents to serve.


Her mom tagged along (which I always love), and she told me something Ava definitely wasn’t going to brag about herself:

Ava will be graduating high school AND college this spring.

Yes—both! How amazing is that? I just stared at her like, “Girl, how did you not lead with that?!”


This session felt peaceful, sweet, and full of intention—just like Ava. I can’t wait for her spring session and to celebrate everything she’s accomplished this year.
