Royal High School Senior Portraits at Corriganville Park: Ashlyn’s 2024 Graduation Session 🌿✨
Every now and then, a session comes along that leaves a lasting impression on your heart. Ashlyn’s Royal High School senior portraits were exactly that for me. She graduated in 2024, and it was such an honor that she trusted me to capture this milestone in her life.
I’ll never forget how nervous I was at the beginning of her session. Beforehand, I’d call my mom, and we would pray together over the session — that I would be confident in the talent the Lord has blessed me with, that I’d be able to calm my nerves, and that I could give my very best to my client while being as creative as possible. Thankfully, He heard my prayers, and I was able to deliver a gallery I’m truly proud of.
We chose Corriganville Park in Simi Valley for Ashlyn’s portraits — and to this day, it’s one of my favorite locations. With its stunning trails, rock formations, rustic backdrops, and golden light, it offers endless photo opportunities for high school seniors. It was the perfect setting to showcase Ashlyn’s personality, confidence, and excitement for the future.
From start to finish, Ashlyn’s session was a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. Photographing seniors like her, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating timeless images they’ll treasure forever is such a privilege.
